It is the first of its kind to take a systematic and comprehensive look at transformation processes towards sustainability in research work from different disciplines in cooperation with and funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation. The central focus is the question of the conditions for successful transformations: What can be learned from successful processes within different disciplines? What can be learned from failed or stalled processes? How do the dynamics in the different areas play out in time and space?
