- 2011-2012: Member of the coordination team for the international conference "Radius of Art: Creative politicization of the public sphere - Cultural potential forces for social transformation" (Heinrich Böll Stiftung, Berlin, 8-9.02.2012). Conception and coordination of the conference thematic window "art toward cultures of sustainability".
- 2011: Doktor der Philosophie, summa cum laude, an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, Fakultät Kulturwissenschaften. Thema: "Art and (Un-)Sustainability".
- 2011: Member of the selection committee of the COAL Prize 2011 (Prix COAL Art et Environnement, Paris).
- 2010: Main organizer of the workshop "Sustainable Creative Cities: The role of the arts in the globalized urban context" at ASEF’s 4th Connecting Civil Societies Conference (2-3 October 2010, Brussels) in preparation for the ASEM8 Summit (4-5 October 2010, Brussels).
- Since 2009: Founding Director of the International Summer School of Arts and Sciences for Sustainability in Social Transformation (ASSiST - first edition in Gabrovo, Bulgaria on August 21-27 2010)
- 2009: Member of the expert commission on the role of culture in the transition to an ecological age, commissioned by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) alongside COP15.
- 2007 – 2009 (Germany/France/Netherlands/Czech Rep./Uganda) : Partner-Coordinator for the European project „Awareness raising of Europeans on issues of sustainability in semi-pastoral societies of developing countries: the case of the Karimojong people in North-Eastern Uganda“, together with ACTED (Paris). Director of the documentary film "Land of Thorns".
- 2008: Member of the Advisory Board for the "Asia-Europe Dialogue on Arts, Culture & Climate Change" at the ASEF (Asia Europe Foundation).
- June 2008: Member of the Jury for the postgraduate diplomas in visual arts at the Geneva University of Art and Design, CCC research-based program.
- 2006 - 2007 (Lüneburg) : Organisator des Kunstprogramms "Everything will be fine / alles wird gut", zusammen mit die Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. Mitglied des organisationskomitee und des wissenschaftlischeskomitee der ESA Arts Conference 2007.

- November 2003 to May 2004 (Rotterdam) : Producer-Organiser of the dance and art-management workshop 'The energy of intercultural dance for social inclusion' (Erasmus Genootschap voor Cultuurmanagement, Stichting Cultuurfonds van de Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten and Deelgemeente Noord Rotterdam).
- 2003 : Graduated (=Magister) at Sciences Po Bordeaux (Institute of Political Sciences), with specialization in political sociology, with distinction, ranked 2nd (out of 250).
- November 2002 to April 2003 (Bordeaux) : Maker of Paroles nomades, video-documentary about the life of Gypsies on the University Campus of Bordeaux.
- June to August 2002 (Rotterdam) : Consultant at AIDA (Atelier voor interactieve Duurzaamheid Activiteiten) for MileuBeleid Rotterdam (communication office, environmental policy direction, municipality of Rotterdam).
- February to May 2002 : Co-Creator of Ego Travels (installation/performances). Performed on May 24th 2002 in Rotterdam (fake travel agency: 'social sculpture').
- July and August 2001 (New-Delhi) : Internship at the French Embassy in New-Delhi (India), near the Cultural Attaché. Mission: to compare the cultural actions of GB, USA, France and Germany in India.
- November 2000 to March 2001 (Bordeaux) : Internship at the FRAC (=regional contemporary art fund and collection) of Aquitaine: Creation of the exhibition Twice the pleasure (works of Duchamp, K. Fritsch, T. Mouillé, J. Kosuth, S. Levine, etc.), promotion and search for partnerships, actions around the "artistic 1%" of buildings on the campus.
- March to September 2000 (Bordeaux) : Press attaché of ARPA (Research and action for photography in Aquitaine) Organization of the photography encounter in South-Gironde (with Antoine Dagata, Max Pam, Klavdij Sluban, Laurent Septier, etc.).
- 2000: Basic diploma (DEUG) in History, Université Bordeaux 3.
- June to August 2000 : Internship in the Museum of Aquitaine (Bordeaux), near the Curator for medieval history.
