Inhalt: In this course, we will be examining various ethical frameworks for considering the question of the animal (utilitarian, rights based, capability approaches, etc.) as well as take up practical questions related to our treatments of other animals (animal testing, keeping pets, zoos, etc.). In addition to questions related to animal ethics, we will also be exploring questions related to the ethics of animals, especially to animal suffering and minds.
