Inhalt: Building on the positive response from last year, I am excited to offer the course "Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Law, Business, Policy, and Human Rights" again this year. This course explores the deep connections between legal frameworks, economic structures, and policy interventions, with a special focus on the Global South and the Third World Approach to International Law (TWAIL). In light of evolving global challenges, ranging from corporate accountability and sustainability to digital transformations in governance, we will critically examine how international business regulations impact human rights, environmental justice, and economic equity. Through interactive lectures, case studies, group discussions, and expert guest talks, participants will engage with pressing issues such as global value chains, informal economies, labour rights, climate justice, and financial inclusion, assessing how law and policy can drive meaningful change. Hands-on projects will encourage practical application, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Assessments, including classroom discussions, group assignments, and presentations, will reinforce interdisciplinary learning. I look forward to welcoming a new group of students to engage in dynamic discussions and collaborative exploration, deepening our understanding of how law, business, and policy intersect to shape a more just and sustainable global future.
