Inhalt: General themes: a) General perspectives about the great diversity of tropical forests: fauna, flora, culture (native people), and economy around tropical forests. b) Climate change and threats (exploration, fires and logging): • what do we know and what do we need to be concerned about? • Fauna and flora extinction; • habitat losses; • forest tipping point • What is happening with native people? • How will we survive whiteout these forests? c) Conservation and Economy: developing an economy allied to the conservation of forests. How much money can we lose to destroy the forests? Ecosystem services, eco-tourism. Agroforestry and sustainable forestry practices. Intrinsic and extrinsic nature’s value.
