Inhalt: The course 'Food Cartographies: Understanding the Cycle of Producing, Processing and Consuming Food" invites students to critically examine how food moves through systems and societies. Key questions include How can we visualize and better understand the flows and impacts of food production, processing and consumption? What narratives are (in)visible in our current food systems? Topics include food loss and waste, food circularity, environmental and social justice in food chains, and the politics of representation in food mapping. Students will analyze global and local examples and reflect on their own food practices through creative cartographic exercises.
