Inhalt: Digital media theory cannot make meaningful statements by relying on a just vague understanding of its subjects. This 2-semester-long course is designed to give you a core understanding of the fundamental principles and paradigms of computer science and teach you all the basic knowledge about soft- and hardware. By the end of this course you will ideate, design and program your own prototype. Ideally this application will help reflect on a media-theoretical, cultural or political phenomenon and put your knowledge about technology in perspective to society.
