Inhalt: Global Leadership and International HR (global talent management) This course explores the importance of international human resource management, especially global leadership and global talent management. Main topics are global leadership, global talent acquisition and employer branding; global standardization of HR procedures, processes and instruments; global HR metrics; global talent selection; retaining global talents; compensation and benefits. This course will help students identify differences in operating a domestic versus and international HR management and how HR management practices will need to be adapted to operate successfully in foreign markets. Upon completion of this course, you will gain an understanding of the: Various facets of the IHRM function, including: a. Global Talent Management (including global strategy, internationalization and standardization of HR, global values, global metrics, global workforce and succession planning) b.) Attracting Global Talents and Global employer branding c.) Selection of Global Leadership Talents (including cultural implications and differences) d.) Global performance management e.) Training and developing of global leadership talents/ global leaders f) Compensation and benefits for global talents/leaders (including legal aspects) g) Retaining global leaders/leadership talents, e.g. repatriation
