Climate adaptation (Vorlesung)

Inhalt: In this course, basic concepts and approaches on how to address climate change adaptation in different sectors and regions are introduced, including frameworks for adaptation processes, as well as methods and tools on how to develop adaptation strategies and pathways. We will introduce basic knowledge on climate change impacts and modeling, and addres the adaptation cycle which includes to identify adaptation needs and potential adaptation measures, to develop, implement, assess, monitor and evaluate adaptation strategies. In working groups, specific case studies for climate adaptation and general theoretical themes about climate adaptation will be developed and presented to all participants.
