Inhalt: In Cultural Entrepreneurship I, students will be introduced to research on the different ways of working and organizing in the cultural and creative industries. Several insights from academic research on cultural entrepreneurship, temporary organizing, and other organizational forms will be discussed. Alongside this theoretical foundation, they will be invited to work in groups and experiment with project-based modes of working and organizing. Common tools and techniques for project management, ideation, and concept development will be introduced and students will gain experience with these in a hands-on manner.

Cultural Entrepreneurship II (Seminar)

Inhalt: In Cultural Entrepreneurship II, students will have the opportunity to implement what they have learned in the seminar Cultural Entrepreneurship I, in order to complete a practical assignment for a local cultural or creative organization. This assignment will be based on a specific question or challenge formulated by the cultural or creative organization, and can result in an event, programme, tool, or publication. Student work will be self-led and group-based, and students will be responsible for creative and academic content, as well as tasks involving finance, marketing, logistics, and communication.
