Inhalt: Alle diejenigen, die schon immer wissen wollten, wie eine digitale Animation heutzutage einfach erstellt werden kann und wie man eigenen Videos einen künstlerischen Touch in Form von selbstentworfenen visuellen Bewegtgrafiken und Effekten verleihen kann, sind herzlich zu diesem Workshop eingeladen.
Audio mit Audacity (Workshop)

Inhalt: Die moderne Welt ist multimedial. Unsere Nutzungsgewohnheiten von Podcast-Konsum und anderen Audiomedien gehören zu unserem Alltag. Doch wenn wir den Spieß umdrehen und von Rezipienten zu Produzenten werden möchten, wie setzen wir das um? Würde es nicht praktisch sein, selbst über das Know-How zu verfügen um bei Bedarf in der Lage zu sein, mit der eigenen Hard- und Software solche Audiostücke zu produzieren? Man könnte so Abwechslung in die eigenen Berichte hinein bringen, eine Idee in der Tiefe erläutern oder eine Präsentation auf eine Art und Weise anreichern.

Inhalt: Was verbirgt sich hinter den digitalen Bildern, denen wir täglich begegnen? Wie unterscheiden sie sich voneinander? Welche Bilder werden wie genutzt und warum? Diese Fragen werden im 2-stündigen Workshop adressiert. Wir werden mit einer guten Photoshop-Alternative arbeiten. Dabei vergleichen wir den Arbeitsprozess in GIMP mit der InDesign/Illustrator-Alternative Inkscape. Die Fragen der sicheren Nutzung von visuellen Ressourcen, die online verfügbar sind und deren Lizenzen werden ebenfalls adressiert.

Inhalt: Beinahe täglich kommen wir mit Medium Video in Berührung, zumindest als Zuschauende. Um das Medium jedoch zu verstehen und einsetzen zu können, lohnt sich ein Blick hinter die Kulissen, der Videoproduktionsprozesse offenlegt.

Inhalt: You can make your audio-visual products more versatile and richer with the use of animated titles, motion graphics, basic animation - depending on your own demand. In this Workshopthe participants will be introduced to the animation tool of Black Magic's DaVinci Resolve called Fusion. With its help they will be able to grant their videos a very own artsy touch in terms of self created visual and motion graphics, intros, titles or lower thirds.

Inhalt: The modern world - is the world of multimedia. Our habits of listening to podcasts and other kinds of audio content is part of our daily life now. But what if we need to change the game from consuming to producing such pieces of information? Wouldn’t it be handy to be able to mix an audio file on your own computer whenever you need one for your studies in order to - for example - bring some variety into your report, to enhance your presentation or to express your idea in a more creative way? During this two-hour-workshop for beginners we will learn how one could create a mix of music and sounds with the recordings of your own voice using the free and yet professional software „Audacity“. We will go over the places and options for a safe download and use of music and sound effects. A short recording of your voice will be integrated into a new piece of audio and edited using filters and other magic tricks offered by the „Audacity“ palette to achieve a result of certain quality.

Inhalt: What lies behind the digital images we see every day? What is are differences among them? What images can be used for what purpose and why? We address all these questions and more during the workshop. We work with the suitable and free alternatives to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and are going to compare the workflow of GIMP and Inkscape. Inhalt: Adding video to the palette of one’s communication options could be beneficial for one’s academic studies. Tasks such as preparing a nonlinear presentation, expressing one’s point of view supported with visual content or a creative idea, reporting one’s project outcome or creating an application video will require at least some basic skills in video editing. However, editing video files on your computer might be tricky - many editing software such as Avid, Adobe Premiere and After Effects or Final Cut offer a variety of tools for professional use, but are quite expensive. There is a free alternative though, which is just as skillful: DaVinci Resolve by Black Magic. During this two-hour-workshop for beginners we will learn how to start with DaVinci Resolve in order to create a video piece mixing still and moving images, music and titles to get a multimedia video file of a certain quality as a result. We will also go over some optional online visual and audio resources and options for its safe use.

Inhalt: Das Erweitern der eigenen Palette der Kommunikationswege durch die Videomethode kann im Studium von Vorteil sein. Aufgaben wie eine asynchrone Präsentation, Vermittlung des eigenen Standpunktes unterstützt durch Bewegtbildinhalte, Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse der eigenen Forschung/Projekte oder Erstellung eines Bewerbungsvideos erfordert zumindest die Basiskenntnisse in Videobearbeitung und Postproduktion. Die Bearbeitung von Videos auf dem eigenen Laptop könnte jedoch heikel werden: viele namenhaften Programme wie Avid, Adobe Premiere und After Effects oder Final Cut bieten eine Reihe von Profi-Werkzeugen, sind jedoch ziemlich kostspielig. Die freie und dennoch professionelle Software DaVinci Resolve von Black Magic ist eine gute Alternative.
