The “Experiments for the Environment” workshop brings together early-career researchers and established scientists from the fields of environmental economics and behavioral economics. Using experimental methods, they investigate questions relating to environmental policy instruments and the promotion of sustainable environmental behavior.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, September 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The aim of the workshop is not only to find solutions to environmental issues, but also to bring together scientists at different stages of their careers.
The event is funded by the Zukunft.Niedersachsen program of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture and the Volkswagen Foundation.
