Re-Frame – Mining the Museum
An Intervention at Deutsches Salzmuseum, Lüneburg

Master’s students of Cultural Studies engage in a critical intervention that complements, reframes, and questions the existing narratives at Deutsches Salzmuseum.
Deutsches Salzmuseum invited students to critically examine and comment on the permanent exhibition. As culture, language, and exhibition practices have continued to evolve since its conception, we as students seek to offer new perspectives and invite all visitors to reflect critically on the exhibition’s narratives.
The intervention takes place within the seminar „Mining the Museum: Kritische Intervention im Salzmuseum“. The seminar is guided by Prof. Dr. Lynn Rother.
