Prof. Torben Schmidt on today's European Day of Languages


Lüneburg. Since 2001, 26 September has been the European Day of Languages. It was introduced on the initiative of the Council of Europe with the aim of contributing to the appreciation of all languages and cultures and making people aware of the benefits of language knowledge. On the occasion of this day, Südwestrundfunk (SWR) has published an interview with Professor Dr. Torben Schmidt from the Leuphana-Institute of English Studies. The English didactician talks to SWR presenter Andreas Herrler about the question of how to learn a language most easily and quickly.
