"The idea behind “Radiance” is that the Kunstverein radiates – into the public space and into people’s daily lives. We want to break away from the traditional exhibition space, which we know can sometimes feel intimidating," explains Angela Schoop, Chair of the Kunstverein. Lana Bartusch, who leads the "Spaces of Art Organisation" initiative within the Leuphana Innovation Community for Art and Culture, highlights the importance of collective effort in bringing art into society: "Radiance – this concept of radiating – only succeeds when we come together. In developing the 'Art is for Everyone!' programme, a large and dedicated team has joined, bringing diverse approaches, expertise, and backgrounds to create an exciting programme of free workshops and tours to accompany the “Radiance” exhibition."
Art educators from the Düne Educational and Cultural Centre, Halle für Kunst, mosaique, the Kunstverein Lüneburg, and students from Leuphana University Lüneburg have drawn inspiration from the locations and artistic concepts, each taking a unique approach to the works. Whether through photography, literature, drawing, painting, or sound, there are many ways to explore the artworks – suitable for adults, children, and young people alike.
