Leuphana further education program: Introduction to data analysis
2025-01-22 Lüneburg. As a result of digitalization, ever larger amounts of data are being generated in ever shorter periods of time. The part-time certificate program in Data Analytics at Leuphana University Lüneburg aims to enable students to analyze and utilize this valuable information. It offers participants an introduction to the field of data analysis. The certificate program starts in April 2025; applications are accepted until January 31.
Over the course of one semester, participants acquire relevant knowledge in the fields of statistics, programming with Python, and an introduction to applied data analysis. The focus is not only on acquiring theoretical knowledge, but also on the practical application of what has been learned in exercises. With the certificate, graduates have a toolbox of basic skills for statistically analyzing and proving correlations within data sets and preparing them graphically for communication.
The certificate program follows a blended learning approach: regular online events are combined with a few on-site appointments. The program is aimed primarily at those who want to expand their practical data skills in order to make them usable in their company, for example. Those who wish to continue their education in the field of data science after completing their certificate can do so by taking an extra-occupational master's program in Data Science at the Leuphana Professional School.
Applications can be submitted online at www.leuphana.de/ze-data-analytics until January 31. Interested parties can arrange a personal consultation with coordinator Maria Kruse (phone 04131.677-2129, dataanalytics@leuphana.de).
