Working together to develop the school of tomorrow
Leuphana Innovation Community School Development and Leadership invites you to get involved
2026-03-11 Lüneburg, 11 March 2026. School is more than just lessons – it is a community project. Under the title ‘Achieving more together – cooperation as the key to effective school development’, the Leuphana Innovation Community School Development and Leadership is therefore inviting you to the 2nd Community School Conference at Leuphana University Lüneburg on Thursday, 19 March 2026, starting at 12:30 p.m. Teachers, school administrators, parents, administrators and other education stakeholders are invited to discuss their visions for improving schools. The conference is free of charge, but registration is requested.
Instead of traditional lectures, the focus is on interactive exchange, networking and concrete solutions. This means that participants go home with concrete ideas on how they can work together to change schools from now on. A varied programme awaits you: in addition to a keynote speech by Prof. Dr Steffen Farny, who will address the collaboration between science and practice, there will be opportunities to test innovative concepts – for example, in a ‘serious game’ for school administrators, in building future scenarios with Lego® Serious Play®, or in planning a ‘travelling conference’ for networking schools.
Date and location: Thursday, 19 March 2026, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m.). Leuphana University Lüneburg, Building C25, Room 019 (Transformations::räume), Universitätsallee 1.
Registration: Interested parties can register via the Leuphana Innovation Community website: www.leuphana.de/community-school-conference
