Leuphana Launches Its Digital Transformation Management MBA Program Once Again

2026-05-29 Lüneburg. The ongoing digital transformation is challenging companies to fundamentally reassess their existing business models and work processes. To equip professionals and executives with the skills needed for these transformative tasks, Leuphana University Lüneburg will once again offer its part-time MBA program in Digital Transformation Management (DTM) starting in October 2026. The program equips participants to strategically plan and operationally manage transformation processes within their organizations.

Digital Transformation Management MBA Program

The program lies at the intersection of business informatics and management. The curriculum reflects current demands in the business world and includes modules such as digital strategy development, innovation management, and data- and AI-driven business models. In addition, topics such as the future of work, digital ethics, and change management are covered to provide a holistic perspective on digital transformation.

A key feature of the MBA is the ability to balance studies with a career. The pedagogical approach is based on an online model with interactive courses that primarily take place in the evenings or on weekends. In these live sessions, great emphasis is placed on exchange, discussion, and interactivity. This allows participants to go beyond the course content and gain exposure to different perspectives from various industries and job roles, enabling them to directly apply what they learn to their professional lives.

To promote networking and further professional exchange, one in-person workshop-style session is scheduled each semester on the campus in Lüneburg. In addition, guest lectures from the business world facilitate a direct transfer of academic content into everyday work.

The program is aimed at working professionals with at least one year of practical experience who wish to develop an academic profile in the field of digital transformation. The degree can be earned within three semesters.

Applications for the October semester are accepted until July 31, 2026. Prospective students can learn more about the program’s curriculum and admission requirements during the online information day on June 17 and 18, 2026.
