Inhalt: The course is particularly suitable for students who are interested in applied economic data analysis. The course deals with the following questions: - How to specify an econometric model and how to fit (estimate) this model? - How to estimate an econometric model using regression analysis? - How can the validity of economic relationships be tested? - What difficulties can be encountered during the analysis and how these problems could be solved? - How can data be analyzed and evaluated using R?
