Inhalt: The prep course is particularly designed for students in the Data Science and Engineering master program and refreshes the mathematical foundations. Contents: linear algebra, finite-dimensional vectorspaces, matrices, linear mappings, kernel, image of ~, eigenvalues and -vectors; calculus, vector and scalar fields, vector analysis, gradient, nabla, directional derivative, gradient descent, difference operator; descriptive statistics
