Inhalt: This course gives a basic introduction into the use of geographic information systems. Beside the creation of simple maps several basic problems and solutions in dealing with ArcGIS 10.0 are presented. Beginners-level analyses of spatial data and sources of open-source data are combined as another part of the course.
