Inhalt: This course will provide an introduction to the nature of government and politics in contemporary democracies. We will cover a broad range of topics that are usually referred to as ‘comparative politics’. In the first part of the seminar, we will discuss theories, approaches and methods of comparative politics. Based on that, we will focus on structures and institutions, actors, processes, and policies.
