The future cities of Europe - beyond Lüneburg 2030+ (Projekt)

Inhalt: Due to the Covid 19 developments it is necessary to adapt the structure of the project. We are currently working on the final details. The key idea of the project is to enable learning processes across communities in Germany, Europe and beyond on how to cope with the challenges that emerged due to the Covid 19 crises and making concrete approaches accessible that can help cities to recover from the crises while at the same time fostering sustainability. For doing so virtual interactions with actors in partner cities are planned to identify, structure and analyze coping strategies and "sustainability solutions" that are then presented in a tangible and decontextualized way to serve other cities as inspiration to develop their own strategies. These copings strategies and sustainability solutions will also be used to develop case studies for the Starting Week 2020 that will focus on envisioning resilient and sustainable Future Cities.
