Inhalt: In dem Projektband soll es um den positiven Einfluss von Sport auf das Wohlbefinden bzw. konkret die Verringerung von Stress gehen. Wir werden zum Einen theoretische Grundlagen und den empirischen Stand ihrer Prüfung aufarbeiten. Zum Anderen werden wir im Rahmen einer Langzeitbeobachtung den Einfluss von Sport auf das eigene Stresserleben beobachten.

Inhalt: The lecture provides an overview of the methods and paradigms of personality, intelligence, and other aspects of differential psychology. These include approaches to and models of personality (psychoanalytic approach, learning theory perspectives, humanistic personality theories, trait approaches), biological basis of personality, personality development, structure and process models of intelligence, emotional and practical intelligence, interpersonal relationships, intercultural aspects, and social construction of gender.

Inhalt: This course aims at providing an introduction into selected theories, models, and empirical findings of research in the realms of intelligence, creativity, and personality. Participants will be asked to prepare a specific topic (only individual contributions) and present their findings at a simulated “research conference”. The presentation and a written essay (description and evaluation of own "project") will be scored 50% each for course credit. The entire course will be held in English.
