Inhalt: In detail, the course will first look at the methodology of German law as compared to Common law and on the impact of European law. It will then go on to present some of the central features of Corporate Governance in Germany, the UK and the US. It will finish with highlighting specific compliance issues like e.g. insider trading. As a result of the course, the participants will have acquired a basic knowledge and understanding of the legal mechanics governing the running of international businesses.
