Inhalt: The Masterforum I helps to do the first steps for your final master thesis. Based on your experiences with your bachelor thesis we are analyzing step by step what should be done. During our sessions I will present basic ideas of the textbook "How to write a Master´s Thesis" written by Yvonne N. Bui. (2013). Developed as assignments all participants have to submit exercises to the steps (1) "Selecting a research topic, (2) using the literature to research your problem, (3) how to write chapter one ´introduction´ and (4) chapter´two` literature review, (5) conducting ethical research, and (6) final formating (APA Style). All participants should present one of their assignments during the sessions; use group segmentation for booking your presentation date. At the end of the seminar all participants have to prepare a poster presentation in which they explain their master thesis idea ("research outline") and clarify which two supervisors are willing to accept the outline. Poster presentation will be organized within an open end session combined with an invitation to the "PELP community" (all PELP-Students + all PELP-lecturers). Research outline and literature review should be completed until the end of February 2018. Independent of internships or studying abroad sucessful participating requires to take part in two sessions at least, one session for assignment presentation, and one in the last week.
