Inhalt: The seminar is designed to convey a better understanding of the legal requirements and administrative procedures concerning public procurement in the EU. Students will be able to classify and comprehend the logical constructions within which public contracts are tendered. This will enable the students to understand and compare the legal challenges and economic interdependencies in the field of public procurement in the EU. The methodological tools with which the students will be equipped consist of a systematic legal analysis of the structures and breadth of subjects revolving around the topic of public procurement in the EU.

Inhalt: The "Tutorial European Law" is offered to students as complement to the lecture on "European Law". Thus, the contents are closely related to the lecture and range from topics such as European integration, the sources of EU law, the distribution of competences, judicial protection etc. to more substantive issues of EU law such as the principle of non-discrimination.
