Inhalt: This course is organised in three parts: a) elearning video lectures on corporate sustainability with short multiple choice tests for self-checks, b) on-campus lectures on market-oriented sustainability management and sustainability marketing, c) group assignments analysing real company cases for which market-oriented sustainability management concepts will be developed. After the introduction online lecture on Monday 18 October you are requested to watch the elearning course "Corporate Sustainability", which provides an introduction to the fundamentals of sustainability management and creates a basic understanding for corporate sustainability. Students with good prior knowledge in corporate sustainability management can pass this course part very efficiently and check their current knowledge. Students without prior knowledge in sustainability management receive an introduction to corporate sustainability which, in the combination of the introductory book, the elearning lectures and a multiple-choice test, provides an overview. Link to the elearning introductory course "Corporate Sustainability" on Moodle: https://moodle.leuphana.de/course/view.php?id=3252 The online lectures deal with analytical and normative approaches of market-oriented sustainability management and sustainability marketing in more detail. This includes aspects of market research, strategic market analysis, marketing management, product/service designs, etc. Theoretical approaches are illustrated and discussed with real cases to create a solid understanding of sustainability marketing. The assignments with real company cases are dealt with in groups in parallel to the lectures. Presentations and a written final report constitute the basis for the assessment of this course.
