Inhalt: This course offers an in-depth introduction to the main analytical frameworks in the study of public policy making from the early days of policy sciences to the most recent theoretical advances. Drawing on a wide variety of theoretical perspectives on the policy process, the course discusses competing approaches to the study of policy change and discuss their respective explanatory scope. Course discussions will focus on implications for conflict management and problem solving in democratic politics.
