Inhalt: Monetäre Aussenwirtschaft / International Monetary Economics In the first part of this module we focus on arbitrage relationships and basic models of exchange rate determination. Building on that we discuss the role of monetary and fiscal policy for exchange rates. Lastly we look at the history of the international monetary system, exchange rate crises, and optimum currency areas.
