Leuphana Start-up Idea 2026 – apply by 31 July!

2026-04-24 Under the slogan “Vision2Reality”, Leuphana University of Lüneburg is launching the “Start-up Idea of the Year 2026” competition. We are looking for innovative ideas with social or economic potential that are ready to make the leap from vision to reality.
The Institute for Start-up Management’s ideas competition invites Leuphana students, graduates and staff to submit their start-up ideas by 31 July 2026. The focus is on innovative concepts with clear added value – ranging from technological solutions to social or sustainable business models. What matters is not a finished business plan, but a compelling idea with potential for development.
The best teams will have the opportunity to present their concepts to a jury of start-up and business experts and receive expert feedback to help them further develop their idea. The winning “Leuphana Start-up Idea of the Year 2026” will be announced at the LÜNALE and awarded prize money of 3,000 euros.
