Transdisciplinary case studies

A case study focusses at a particular phenomenon in its social, cultural, economic and environmental relations. The specificity of the individual case is examined against the background of general topics (e.g., changes in food and energy systems, biodiversity, climate change). "Transdisciplinary" means that people from different fields - such as science, administration, art or business - research together on socially relevant problems, learn from each other and contribute to their solution.
