Collective Memories, Identities and the Shaping of the International Legal Order

4 Nov

The fourth lecture in the series “Security, Power & Law in the 21st Century” will be presented by Prof. Alexandra Hofer (Utrecht University School of Law). The title of the lecture is “Collective Memories, Identities, and the Shaping of the International Legal Order.” Dr. Angar Verma will moderate the event.

How have collective memories shaped the international legal order? And how will they shape this order now, in times of upheaval? Prof. Dr. Alexandra Hofer examines the role of memory in the formation of the international order and asks whose past will determine the future order.

Location: Lecture Hall (Hörsaal) 4
Time: 4:00–6:00 PM
