In this session, we discussed Andrea Wessendorf’s paper titled: “Diverse but Not Inclusive: How An Elite Organization’s Aim to Maintain Its Prestige Undermined a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiative” with Laura Fey and Elke Schüßler as discussants.

We also welcomed Birke Otto to present her work on “Public Secrecy und Online Innovation Communities (hackers)” with René Lührsen and Matthias Wenzel as discussants.

We talked about Cristina Neesham’s paper on ‘Philosophical approaches to value in sustainable business models’, with Markus Reihlen and Bennet Schwoon as discussants.

Christina Lüthy presented a JMS R&R titled ‘Working beyond Neoliberalism: Organizing Alternatively through an Ethics of Care’, discussed by Boukje Cnossen and Eva-Maria Spreitzer.

First, we looked at Verena Meyer's work titled: The performativity of entrepreneurship theory – constructing the agent of entrepreneurialism.

In the second half of the session, we turned to Matthias Wenzel's R&R and the question of impact: The Theory–Practice Gap: How Impact Emerges through Theorybuilding.

Raghu Garud joined us as a special guest (from the DFG Innovation & Temporality Network) to present his work in progress titled “Navigating unfamiliar situations: Crises and Innovations”.
