LOST researchers secure DFG project and network funding

2026-03-03

We are excited that several LOST members have been successful with two DFG (German Science Foundation) grand applications that fit very well with LOST’s growing research focus on "Organizing in Times of Crisis“ and Leuphana’s program on "Embracing Transformation“:

Elke Schuessler, in a team with Dennis Schoeneborn (CBS) as Mercator Fellow and Pauline Börries (formerly Gerland) as PhD student, has successfully acquired DFG funding for the project “Corporate Sustainability Communication in an Age of Polarization (CS-CAP): Why Firms Either Engage in Stakeholder Dialogue or Retract to Strategic Silence” (budget: ~300.000 Euro; duration: 3 years).

Laura Fey (main applicant) as well as Andrea Wessendorf (U Edinburgh), Alex Christian (TUM), Ignas Bruder (TU Dresden) and Rasmus Pichler (Erasmus U Rotterdam) have received funding for a research network on "Organizing societal transformation: A process-based perspective“.

Congratulations!
