ESU Conference and Doctoral Programme
On behalf of the Leuphana University Lüneburg, we would like to invite you to the 14th ESU Conference and Docotral Programme. This year the conference will be held at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Scharnhorststr. 1, 21335 Lüneburg, Germany from the 04th – 08th of September 2017.
Each year the ESU – the European University Network on Entrepreneurship – organizes a conference for PhD students, their supervisors and invited entrepreneurship researchers. The ESU conference offers a unique opportunity for PhD students to meet and create their own networks, follow a PhD programme offering ECTS credits, present their research ideas in the international scientific forum and work on their doctoral dissertation conjointly with supervisors from all over the world.
In addition, the ESU Conference combines scientific sessions and cultural events allowing participants to discover the diversity and the cultural richness of different European regions. In this case the medieval hanseatic town of Lüneburg. Thus supervisors, researchers and students will come together and implement new ways to promote entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour.
The Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship (LCE) is an annually held international conference at the Leuphana University in Lueneburg, Germany with about 300 participants, from students to alumni, researchers and practitioners to other representatives from different industries.
In January 2017, the conference objective seeks to explore the reciprocal relationship between the entrepreneur and global challenges in our world. Under the conference theme „Entrepreneurship and Global Challenges“ the conference intends to embrace the broad variety of topics on the edge of entrepreneurship and global challenges such as globalization, digitization, refugee crisis, climate change, demographic change, poverty and innovation.
The Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship has been praised for its innovative teaching and invites researchers, entrepreneurs, financiers, practitioners, policy makers and students to use our first class event to exchange opinions or to find new inspiration. In 2014 again, Leuphana University was confirmed as Germany’s start-up friendliest university in the category of middle-sized higher education institutions.
