Inhalt: In diesem Bachelorkolloquium werden wir gemeinsam folgende Themen besprechen und durchgehen: - Themenfindung, -konkretisierung und -strukturierung - Literatursuche und -analyse - Design einer qualitativen Studie - Fallstudien - Zeitplanung - Bewertungskriterien einer Bachelorarbeit - Klärung allgemeiner Fragen Insgesamt sind vier Blocktermine vorgesehen: 1. Termin: Einführung und Kennenlernen; Auseinandersetzung mit den Anforderungen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens; Tipps zur Literaturrecherche 2. - 4. Termin: Präsentation und Diskussion Ihrer Bachelorarbeitsprojekte

Inhalt: Das Bachelorkolloquium soll Studierende bei der Erstellung ihrer Abschlussarbeit begleiten und hilfreiche Hinweise zum Anfertigen einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit bieten. Zu Beginn des Seminars werden Tipps zur Themenfindung, zur Ableitung einer Forschungsfrage, zur Literaturrecherche und zum generellen Ablauf einer quantitativ-empirischen Forschungsarbeit vermittelt. Im weiteren Verlauf der Veranstaltung präsentieren die Studierenden den Stand ihrer Arbeit und erhalten in einer anschließenden Diskussion konstruktives Feedback zur Forschungsfrage, zum geplanten Studiendesign oder den angewandten statistischen Methoden. Das Seminar richtet sich insbesondere an Studierende, die eine quantitativ-empirische Abschlussarbeit in den Themenfeldern Marketing, Wirtschaftspsychologie, Digitale Kommunikation, Informationssysteme oder Human-Computer-Interaction anfertigen möchten.

Inhalt: The final thesis is a milestone in academic education! However, all too often essential questions about the final thesis remain unclear. In this colloquium we give "hands-on" answers to the following questions concerning the topic of the final thesis: 1. Why is scientific work at all exciting for business students? 2. How do I develop an interesting research question? 3 Which research design is best suited to answer my research question? 4. What is the best way to proceed when researching literature? 5. How do I structure my argumentation effectively? 6. How can I improve my scientific writing? 7. How do I structure my project "Bachelor thesis" most efficiently? In addition, the Bachelor's colloquium offers students the opportunity to present their research projects in a protected space and thus receive early feedback from students and lecturers to improve their own work.

Inhalt: In this colloquium for IBAE students in the 6th semester, students will be made familiar with the processes of scientific research and academic writing. They will receive guidance on how to narrow down their problem focus, how to search for pertinent literatures, how to do key methodological choices, and how to discuss their findings and theoretical contributions against the background of the existing literature. The colloquium will feature a mix of useful tips&tricks from the lecturer as well as student presentations of their work-in-progress bachelor theses.

Inhalt: This colloquium is particularly aimed at students who are composing their final thesis under the supervision of the Professorship for Organization Studies. More generally, this colloquium targets IBAE students in their final semester who wish to write a thesis in the areas of organization, management, and/or entrepreneurship with a qualitative-empirical research design. The colloquium provides a forum for developing, discussing, and refining research ideas. We will cover aspects such as: - Generating and a research idea - Searching for relevant and appropriate literature - Developing a research design - Developing findings Students will have the opportunity to present and discuss first ideas as well as revised and refined versions of them in a safe environment. The lecturer will support this process by giving feedback and pointing out common mistakes.
