Inhalt: The political science discipline of International Relations (IR) is characterized by a high degree of differentiation between competing theoretical perspectives, which political science students can hardly keep track of. This diversity results from constant examination of real-historical changes in the international system as well as intensive (scientific) theoretical examination and adaptation of findings from neighboring disciplines, such as sociology, international law, and political philosophy.
