Inhalt: This module provides an understanding of the drivers and barriers to social change processes and addresses entrepreneurial options for shaping these processes. Specifically, it focuses on the challenge of creating individual, organizational or societal change for the sustainability transformation. Various mechanisms are discussed - from cognitive and emotional processes to market and regulatory incentives to social values or crisis events - that can either promote or prevent change. It hereby combines a focus on important areas of sustainability, in particular the climate crisis linked with social aspects such as inequality, with social theory on change agency and transformation dynamics.
