The Faculty of Sustainability invites you to the inaugural lecture by Prof. Dr. Andreas Fichtner on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, during the winter semester of 2026/2027. Oliver Schmidt has been working at the Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (LAVES) since 2006, where he heads the Institute for Consumer Goods. In collaboration with Leuphana University, he has been conducting regular field trials on compostable packaging since 2017.
