Inhalt: The module introduces students to the implementation and evaluation of psychological interventions in an exemplary applied discipline. Based on examples, case studies, and exercises, they gain insights in established techniques and recent developments in interventions. The areas of intervention reflect current societal challenges and developments (e.g. of digitalization, integration, sustainability) and are embedded in current projects of the teachers.

Inhalt: In this course, the topics of intervention and evaluation are not only considered theoretically, but also very practically in a real project. The students will become part of the developmental psychological research project " Atempause", which will take place in the school year 2020/2021 at several primary schools in and around Lüneburg. Within the research project, an intervention will be developed, carried out and evaluated. Both the survey instruments required for the evaluation and the implementation of the intervention will be piloted, i.e. tested, in one or two primary school classes during the seminar. Possible challenges and sources of error are identified and eliminated before the main project starts. The different stages of the project and the pilot phase are also examined theoretically.
