Entrepreneurship and Creativity

This research area investigates how new ideas are developed, mobilized, and transformed into ventures, projects, and initiatives. Our research examines entrepreneurial processes and creative practices across diverse contexts, analyzing how innovation emerges and how entrepreneurship serves as a mechanism for social and economic transformation. 

We study both the enabling conditions and constraints that shape entrepreneurial activity. Examples of specific research topics include innovation in response to grand challenges, how new ideas are developed and used to create new ventures, projects, and initiatives, AI and creativity, entrepreneuring under adversity, migrant entrepreneurship, cultural entrepreneurship, innovation and venture creation processes, content creation entrepreneurs and digital influencers, entrepreneurship for women’s health and FemTech entrepreneurs, critical perspectives on entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. 

By studying these diverse phenomena and settings, we contribute to understanding the multifaceted nature of contemporary entrepreneurship. This research offers valuable guidance for entrepreneurs, innovation managers, and organizers seeking to foster creativity, support diverse entrepreneurial pathways, and harness innovation to address societal challenges.
