Dr. Robert Rapoport

Robert Rapoport’s research focuses on video production as a microcosm of larger shifts brought on by automation. Recent projects have looked at how automated editing influences performance. In 2015 he completed a PhD at the University of Oxford. He has taught in the Oxford Departments of Modern Languages and Art History, as well as Sarah Lawrence College and the Hamburg Media School. His work has been shown in both galleries and festivals, including the Ashmolean Museum, Edel Asanti, London, the Hamburg Kurzfilmtage, Modern Art Oxford and the ICA, London.
