Inhalt: This course is a companion course for preparing a master's thesis. The course is open for those students who write their thesis in the field of strategy, organization, and entrepreneurship, preferably at my professorship, and follow either a theoretical or qualitative empirical research design. You will learn how to construct interesting research questions in strategy, organization, and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, you will be familiar with essential expectations in crafting an excellent thesis that is theoretically sound and has methodological rigor. Students will present and discuss their research problems, theoretical positions, and empirical research designs they want to apply to their master's thesis. Students will receive feedback and critically reflect on their chosen research problems, theoretical approach, and empirical research design.

Inhalt: Die Studierenden erstellen zunächst ein Expose als Grundstein ihrer Masterarbeit. Im Kolloquium präsentieren die Studierenden den aktuellen Stand ihrer Masterarbeit und erhalten Feedback von Kommilitonen und der Betreuerin.

Inhalt: Master's forum for *quantitative* empirical (psychological) master's theses. This course is a companion course for preparing a master's thesis using quantitative methods. The course is open for those students who write their master's thesis in a field of psychology (e.g., work psychology, organizational psychology, occupational health psychology, business psychology, social psychology, marketing), organizational behavior, or human resource management and follow a quantitative empirical research design. You will learn how to construct quantitative research in management-related fields and how to craft an excellent thesis that is theoretically sound and has methodological rigor. Students will present and discuss their research questions, research models, and methodological approaches they want to apply to their master's thesis. Students will receive feedback and critically reflect their research.
