Inhalt: Course Description: In the seminar, we will address a real-life problem of a project partner of the “DigEn” project (cp. web link). This B2B service company from Lüneburg faces the challenge of acquiring new customers by digital means. But how to address this customer group digitally? Which platforms, i.e. social media channels do these customers use – if at all? What attracts them? What interests them? After building personas to better understand our project partner`s customers, we will use the design sprint framework to address the challenge. The design sprint is a structured but at the same time very creative step-by-step process that allows us to generate ideas, to prototype and to test. Thus, we will work in a very interactive manner, including both, individual work as well as team work in groups of about six students. Course Structure: Session 1: • Introduction and Theoretical Background • Meeting the Project Partner • Persona Development Session 2 (Design Sprint Day 1): • Map: Exploring the challenge Session 3 (Design Sprint Day 2): • Sketch: Generating ideas Session 4 (Design Sprint Day 3): • Decide: Choosing the best ideas and developing a storyboard Session 5 (Design Sprint Day 4): • Prototype: Building a prototype Session 6 (Design Sprint Day 5): • Test: Learning from customer interviews Session 7: • Presentation and Final Reflection

It will be a very open course - content will be given, but the design of the path is largely up to the participants. It is up to them whether they use the presented tools, which they will learn in this seminar, or fall back on other methods, which have already been learned in studies.
