Prof. Dr. Ann-Christina Lange

My research explores the social dynamics that contend, or partially connect, with different emerging technologies within financial markets. This builds upon on a broader interest in the various intersections between the social and the economic world, with a specific focus on finance, digital and spatial innovation, topology, measurement, aesthetics and artistic critique. My PhD dissertation examined experimental filmmaking and critical design methods centring on the differential logics between art and business intimately bound up with new sites of action such as camps, labs and workshops, which feed into processes of economic valuation.
