The seminar provides an overview of concepts of sustainable development from various parts of the world, which will be analysed under the question: What can we learn from each other to foster sustainability? To further elaborate- Unbox the concepts from the local/regional identity and examine them from global perspective to see what can be learnt or unlearnt. Using participatory methodology, the seminar will be bring key concepts, philosophies, movements, international, local and regional responses, initiatives which may be critically discussed and assessed from different cultural and social perspectives. There will be 4 external speakers who will present on the topics from Africa, Latin America, Pacific Island and international policy instruments.
