Fostering Academic Careers

At Leuphana, over one hundred researchers at various stages of their careers are working together in the Embracing Transformation programme to develop transformation knowledge for future-oriented solutions. This includes an interdisciplinary postdoctoral team (six positions will be available shortly) and a team of doctoral candidates (another six positions will be available shortly), who will each begin their work on 1 October 2025.

In the Leuphana Transformation Lab, postdocs and doctoral candidates from the Embracing Transformation programme work together in transdisciplinary and coordinated teams.

Both postdocs and doctoral candidates will situate their research in one of the key subject areas and in the psychology of transformation. Through this, they will have the opportunity to establish themselves as experts in the highly dynamic field of transformation research. In the Leuphana Transformation Lab, they create synergies between the various research topics involved through collaborative, transdisciplinary and coordinated teamwork. Together with the participating Leuphana professors and international fellows, they become part of a global network of transformation researchers.
