By reading contemporary technology elites’ political thought through feminist social reproduction theory, Luxury Bunker Theory asks what politics of life emerges when future survival is imagined through separation rather than interdependence, and when the conditions that sustain life are increasingly organised through private, fortified infrastructures rather than collective provisions. The presentation will provide an overview of the current state of the project and outline its next stages of development.
