StudCast Leuphana - The student podcast about teaching and learning

2023-11-13

The student perspective on teaching concepts and innovations is important for the development of good teaching. It is just as important to create a solid understanding among students for the development of teaching. After all, theory and practice are sometimes very far apart.

In the new StudCast Leuphana format, our student employees Vivien, Monja, Thea, Kevin and Marlene explore the diversity and challenges of university teaching at Leuphana, present innovations and talk to lecturers and students about current topics in university teaching.

StudCast Leuphana was initiated by the teaching development project "Digital Transformation Lab for Teaching and Learning" (DigiTaL). In its first season, it focuses on the digitalization of teaching at Leuphana. Experts, lecturers, academic staff and student assistants from the DigiTaL project will discuss questions such as "What potential do digital forms of examination have?", "What role can artificial intelligence play in the context of teaching and learning?" and "How does digitalization actually affect studies?"

A new episode is published every third Wednesday of the month. The first episode of StudCast Leuphana is already online and provides an overview of the DigiTaL project.
From November 15, the first of two parts of a double episode will follow, which will focus on the 2023 Teaching Day on the topic of "AI in studying and teaching".
